“My in-laws are born-again Christian. My husband would clasify himself as one as well, however, neither one of us are practicing and both think his family’s views are a little extreme.  I’m a Catholic and that’s something that’s always seemed to bother them. Other than that, these people have no idea what my beliefs are.  A few months ago, they confided in my husband that they finally figured me out.  Apparently, I’m possessed by a demon.  Jezebel to be exact. They could not pinpoint why, they just felt it and believed I had been taken over (maybe God spoke to them). I initially though he was joking, but apparently it was said in complete and utter seriousness.  They believe I’m possessed. Luckily, they’re not Catholic, so I don’t think they’ll be staging an exorcism any time soon!  They did say they would pray for my soul though (phew!). And now that my husband finally told me this - let the games begin! I’m thinking of learning some Latin so I can speak in tongues.”
