“She was on my homeschool varsity soccer team, and played on a select team in addition to that. These are both extremely good teams who work hard, so soccer was a big part of her life. She loves it so much. She tore her left ACL last year, and had only been back playing for a few months. But she’s a Christian, so she’ll probably just be comforted by the idea that God is an asshole intent on ruining her plans for one of her passions in life.”
